Jean Bériaux is geographer and has a second master's degree in science and environmental management. Adventures in the great outdoors always have been what drives him. His taste for exploration has led him, among other travels, to cross the Atlantic Ocean by boat, to be an outdoor guide in the Brazilian Chapada Diamantina and to crisscross the furthest rivers of Congo with his canoe as a cartographer.
His travels have taught him that interest towrards the environment differs greatly around the world. Consciousness of the environment surrounding us and of its importante for us is still far from being achieved in many parts of the world and that is why he is a part of the expedition «Un Coup de Pagaie pour le St-Laurent».
